![]() Invisibility and Bear Smash added a lot more to the combat while Eagle Fly made moving around the city very enjoyable. Overall I liked it more than the main game, and I was surprised at how much more I liked Connor in this story.Ĩ0% PC8/10 – A nice DLC story that introduces some fun powers that really help with some of the more clunky parts of the game. The ending missions are also quite weak, in the last 30 minutes you're required to tail someone, escort someone, do some menial tasks on the open world map and do some parkour that has been trivialized by your Eagle ability. What I find most baffling is that they decided to make it into an open world with collectibles, I just don't get the appeal, the main game has all of the collectibles you'd ever want, why not simply make this into a linear "what if" story. The Eagle power's targeting is a bit clunky, maybe it's better with a mouse, but with a controller I felt it never selected the ledge I wanted. Not being able to bear stomp because you're low on health means some missions cannot be completed unless you go hide to regenerate, this is simply not fun. The abilities are a nice touch, but most of them quite clunky and I also don't get why they chose to use health instead of a simple cooldown. There are some larger battles you need to complete and I really had to wrestle with the targeting system, it often switches targets at the last second and it's really hard to get away from a fight. 60% PCIt's a fun story but at its core it's still ACIII in terms of gameplay, which in my opinion is the weakest of the series. ![]()
